Elinor is the Director of the Housing, Infrastructure, Planning & Development Unit and is a former Commissioner with the State Planning Commission. She an experienced planner who has worked in both the private and public sector for 25 years in South Australia and Victoria.
The Unit which Elinor leads is responsible for co-ordinating growth area and infrastructure planning in South Australia to help enable the delivery of additional housing and new greenfield communities.
Elinor is Deputy Chair of the Kadaltilla / Adelaide Park Lands Authority Board and was the South Australian President of the Planning Institute of Australia during the peak implementation of the planning reform program. She has been heavily involved with the professional development training program for the planning sector in South Australia and her expertise is uniquely diverse, having worked in strategic, statutory and environmental planning roles in urban and regional communities across her career.
