About Us
The TYP (Tasmanian Young Planners) is your local group for Young Planners supported by the Tasmanian Division of PIA.
We are here to connect, support and inform Tasmanian Young Planners through events, regular updates and representation. Being a member of the TYP opens up a range of valuable opportunities and pathways:
Education/Professional Development: Members are regularly notified of opportunities to attend seminars, forums and discussions organised by the Institute on critical planning issues or topical planning projects.
Socialising: The Institute provides plenty of opportunities for planners to mingle with others from the profession in a relaxed and fun atmosphere over the course of the year.
Representation: Get involved in an organisation that actively seeks to have issues relevant to the profession and the future of Tasmania raised in the public domain.
Networking: The Institute provides an environment where it is easy to develop new contacts within the profession.
