Are you on a journey to find an employer where you can hone your technical skills and connect with experts everyday? Are you looking for a place which gives you access to knowledge-sharing opportunities, and fit-for-purpose tools, to build a fulfilling and exciting career for yourself?
Yes? Great. Let’s explore what your early career journey with TBB could look like below:
Interns
Still studying but looking to gain real working experience? Our Intern program offers you the chance to get valuable insights into a potential career in your chosen role, as well as allowing you to experience TBB’s culture. An Intern role is ideal for a 2nd or 3rd year student who is available on a permanent part-time basis.
Graduates
Recently graduated from a planning / urban design degree? Enter our graduate program on a full-time basis to immerse yourself into a mix of training across a range of skills and areas, get hands on helping our senior experts develop and deliver advice for clients, attend client meetings and be a part of client project teams.
We also offer work experience opportunities in some circumstances. Please email people@tbbplanning.com.au to express your interest in this.
Kicking off your career as an Intern or Graduate is the first step that many in our team took to become the highly experienced and successful planners and designers they are today. Including… our very own Managing Director.
What we offer
An opportunity to join one of Perth’s leading urban planning and design firms in an environment that supports you to exceed your potential.
Training – Interns and Graduates
We invest a lot of time in the training and development of our new graduates to help them progress well in their careers. We offer the same structured training and support to our interns.
We’ll provide you with all the training you’ll need for your day-to-day work. You’ll also receive plenty of on-the-job training as you undertake various tasks, which are structured to offer you the widest possible experience in all aspects of what we do.
You will be assigned a “buddy” to support you. They will typically be someone who has recently completed the graduate program which provides you with an opportunity to ask questions and hear their experiences with TBB – settling in, the industry, the work, and the fun stuff.
