Hanlon Park/Bur’uda was the winner of a Great Place at the PIA 2023 Qld Awards.
Come for a walking tour and listen to how this parkland was transformed into a naturalised waterway corridor and enhanced parkland setting.
Located in the heart of the Stones Corner this attractive natural public space is helping the revitalisation of the area.
The delivery of Hanlon Park/Bur’uda has demonstrated a commitment to good planning, strong community engagement, environmental considerations and enhancement of the existing urban form.
The discussion around the parkland’s contextual planning framework, as well as the project development and delivery process will be led by:
Brisbane City Council representatives:

- Lisa Edgerton (Community Engagement)
- Michelle Seward (Concept Project Manager)
